- Long Travel Suspension -
What is long travel?
- Suspension that can cycle up and down a greater distance, achieved through longer control arms or lengthended i-beams in the front and lowered links or leaf springs in the rear.
- Longer A-arms, axles, tie rods, and radius arms (if beamed). It’s designed to make your suspension wider by some amount.
- A longer shock is also usually needed
- For high speed offroad applications, providing more stability while going over bumps by being able to soak them up or keep your tires on the ground
